The new Belisar Chronograph from Union Glashütte fits perfectly with the Saxonia Classic with its sporty retro style and a tireless chronograph movement, which brings it to a gear reserve of up to 60 hours. Especially for the oldtimer rallye, where the German watch brand is going to be the official partner for the sixth time this year, Union Glashütte is presenting a limited edition edition of the timepiece with two bracelets.
There are several details for the exclusivity of this watch, including the red lettering "Limited Edition" on the dial and the engraving "Sachsen Classic 2015 Limited Edition" and the serial numbering on the caseback. The 30-minute and 12-hour counters are silver-colored and give the gray dial a particularly sporty look. As a perfect accessory for vintage car fans, the watch can either be worn with a sporty black leather strap with red quilting seams or - in the style of a nostalgic automobile steering wheel - with a 3-hole band, the inside of which is red in color. Thanks to a special spring bar system, a quick change is possible. The watch comes with both bracelets and a pair of leather gloves in a special package.
The noble vintage look of the Belisar chronograph is emphasized by a railway track minutia- tion. The chronograph second hand with its slightly curved end is attached to the curvature of the dial. Nickel-plated numbers and attached indexes set brilliant highlights. The view of the housing side with the screwed flanks reveals the black lacquered crown with a "U" for Union Glashütte as well as black lacquered Chronographendrucks, with symbols for on / off and reset.
The screwed sapphire glass bottom makes it possible to look at the UNG-27.01 factory in Glashütte with a gear reserve of up to 60 hours. The rotor is refined with the skeletal brand name and with Glashütter strip cut. The watch is waterproof up to a pressure of 10 bar (100 meters).
